چکیده
Three convergent processes are likely to shape the future of internet beyond-5G: The convergence optical and millimeter wave radio networks boost mobile capacity, machine learning solutions communication technologies, virtualized programmable network management mechanisms towards fully integrated autonomic resource management. integration virtualization technologies creates incentive customize dynamically manage resources a network, making functions, storage capabilities at edge key similar available bandwidth in channels. Aiming understand relationship between management, virtualization, dense 5G access fronthaul with an emphasis on converged communications, this article presents review how have dealt optimizing from perspective. A research agenda is also proposed by identifying current state-of-the-art need shift all issues building advanced mechanism for beyond-5G.

The well kn...
متن کاملResource Management and Cell Planning in Millimeter-Wave Overlaid Ultra-Dense Cellular Networks
This paper proposes a cellular network exploiting millimeter-wave (mmWave) and ultra-densified base stations (BSs) to achieve the far-reaching 5G aim in downlink average rate. The mmWave overlaid network however incurs a pitfall that its ample data rate is only applicable for downlink transmissions due to the implementation difficulty at mobile users, leading to an immense difference between up...
متن کاملMillimeter-Wave CMOS Impulse Radio
Millimeter waves are electromagnetic waves with wavelengths of 1 to 10 mm in vacuum, and they were discovered experimentally in the 19th century (Wiltse, 1984). In 1946, the most unique feature of millimeter waves, oxygen absorption at 60 GHz, was reported, which results in the rapid attenuation of electromagnetic waves in the air (Beringer, 1946). Although the oxygen absorption makes long-dist...
متن کاملTractable Resource Management in Millimeter-Wave Overlaid Ultra-Dense Cellular Networks
What does millimeter-wave (mmW) seek assistance for from micro-wave (μW) in a mmW overlaid 5G cellular network? This paper raises the question of whether to complement downlink (DL) or uplink (UL) transmissions, and concludes that μW should aid UL more. Such dedication to UL results from the low mmW UL rate due to high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) at mobile users. The DL/UL allocations ar...
متن کاملRadio Resource Management in Heterogeneous Cellular Networks
The evolution of cellular networks from one generation to another has led to the deployment of multiple radio access technologies (such as 2G/2.5G/3G/4G) in the same geographical area. This scenario is termed heterogeneous cellular networks. In heterogeneous cellular networks, radio resources can be jointly or independently managed. When radio resources are jointly managed, joint call admission...
